Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to bookings made for art workshops and art courses provided by Dukes Creative Learning Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Bookings
1.1. Places on our art workshops and courses are subject to availability.
1.2. A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received via the website or via invoice and you have received a booking confirmation.
1.3. Please check your booking details carefully, including the date, time, location and course or workshop selected, before completing your booking.
1.4. Where a booking is made on behalf of another person, the person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that the participant is aware of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Payments
2.1. Payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed by us.
2.2. All prices are stated in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes or charges unless otherwise specified.
2.3. Online bookings may be subject to payment processing and website booking fees.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1. Cancellations made with more than two weeks’ notice:
If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before the scheduled start date of the workshop or course, you will receive a refund of the amount paid, less 10%. The 10% deduction covers website booking fees and card payment charges incurred in processing the original booking.
3.2. Cancellations made within two weeks:
Cancellations made 14 days or less before the scheduled start date will not be eligible for a refund.
3.3. Exceptional circumstances:
Where a cancellation is due to exceptional circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer a full or partial refund. Any refund offered under this provision will be determined by Dukes Creative Learning Limited on a case-by-case basis. We may request reasonable evidence or further information regarding the circumstances.
3.4. Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible and in writing using the contact details provided on our website.
3.5. Failure to attend a workshop or course without prior cancellation will be treated as a cancellation within two weeks and will not be eligible for a refund.
4. Changes or Cancellation by Us
4.1. We reserve the right to change the date, time, venue, tutor or content of a workshop or course where reasonably necessary.
4.2. If we need to cancel a workshop or course, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and, where appropriate, offer you an alternative date or a refund.
4.3. We will not normally be responsible for additional costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of a change or cancellation, such as travel or accommodation costs.
5. Workshop and Course Participation
5.1. Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards tutors, staff and other participants.
5.2. We reserve the right to refuse participation or ask a participant to leave a workshop or course where their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, abusive or otherwise inappropriate. In such circumstances, a refund will not normally be provided.
5.3. Participants are responsible for following reasonable instructions relating to health, safety and the proper use of art materials and equipment.
6. Materials and Equipment
6.1. Details of any materials or equipment included in the booking will be provided in the relevant workshop or course information.
6.2. Where participants are required to bring their own materials or equipment, this will be stated in the relevant booking information.
6.3. Participants are responsible for taking reasonable care of any equipment or materials provided for their use.
7. Age and Supervision
7.1. Any age restrictions or supervision requirements will be stated in the relevant workshop or course information.
7.2. Where a parent or guardian is required to remain responsible for a child or young person during a workshop or course, this responsibility remains with the parent or guardian unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
8. Photography and Artwork
8.1. Participants may create artwork during our workshops and courses. Unless otherwise stated, artwork created by a participant remains the participant's property.
8.2. We may occasionally take photographs or videos during workshops or courses for promotional purposes. Where identifiable participants are featured, we will seek appropriate permission in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.
9. Liability
9.1. We will take reasonable care in providing our workshops and courses and in maintaining a safe learning environment.
9.2. Participants remain responsible for their own personal belongings and property while attending a workshop or course.
9.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Personal Information
10.1. We will process personal information provided during the booking process in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
10.2. Personal information will be used for purposes including administering bookings, communicating with participants about current and future workshops and providing relevant information about the workshop or course.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1. Course materials, teaching resources, written content, demonstrations and other materials provided by Dukes Creative Learning Limited remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
11.2. Course materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published or commercially exploited without our prior written permission.
12. Website Information
12.1. We aim to ensure that information published on our website about workshops and courses is accurate and up to date.
12.2. However, we reserve the right to correct errors and make reasonable changes to course descriptions, schedules, tutors, venues or materials where necessary.
13. Complaints
13.1. If you have a concern or complaint about a workshop, course or booking, please contact Dukes Creative Learning Limited as soon as possible so that we can investigate and seek to resolve the matter.
