OUR PARTNERED CHARITY

MUIRFIELD RIDING THERAPY

Dukes of West Barns is thrilled to announce a year-long partnership with local charity Muirfield Riding Therapy, aimed at raising awareness and support for the charity’s exceptional therapeutic horseback riding and groundwork experiences. Check out upcoming events below.

Muirfield Riding Therapy provides equine-facilitated therapy for children and adults with a wide range of disabilities and life-affecting conditions. The charity uses horses to improve balance, coordination, strength, and confidence, offering a unique form of therapy that supports both physical and mental well-being.

“The team here at Dukes were asked to vote for their top local charity and Muirfield Riding Therapy was the resounding winner. All of us here at Dukes appreciate how powerful the connection between animals and humans can be, and we are excited to work together with such an incredible local charity. This partnership is an opportunity for us to give back to our community and raise awareness for a cause that makes such a meaningful difference in so many lives.

Robyn Wade, Co-Founder, Dukes of West Barns

“Everyone at Muirfield Riding Therapy is absolutely delighted to have been chosen by the Dukes team and we are looking forward to a year of friendship and collaboration. Like Dukes, community is very important to us. We are community built and led and couldn’t do what we do without the support we receive from around the county. We are fully reliant on fundraising to cover our annual running costs, ensuring we can keep our service free of charge, and therefore accessible to all. We are excited about sharing the year ahead with you all.”
