Beginners Embroidery on Photographs

Add your own unique creative touch to your photographs!

During the first half of this full day class Amy will teach you 10 basic stitches. The second half of the day will be to embroider on to your fabric printed photos. We will spend some time discussing what stitches and colours of thread are best to use to highlight certain areas of the photo. 

Amy will also take you through the process of how she printed your photos on to fabric so you can try yourself at home. 

A few weeks before the class Amy will send you an email asking for any photos you want to embroider on. She will then print these on to fabric. They will all be printed the same size to fit in the frames with a mount window of 8 x 6 cm.  You will choose one completed embroidery at the end of the day to be framed by Amy. 1 mount and frame will be provided per person.

On the day of the class Amy will bring your printed photos, as well as some of her own for your use. All materials will be provided as well as some snacks.

Lunch can be ordered from the cafe or you can bring your own. Please note, packed lunches cannot be eaten in the cafe.  

This will be a relaxed, creative class for absolute beginners.
