Join us as we explore the stunning landscapes of Dunbar through drawing and painting. Working outdoors from spring through autumn, you'll develop your own creative response to the local environment, capturing the changing light, colours and atmosphere of this beautiful coastline.
Throughout our outdoor sessions, you'll receive guidance in observational drawing, composition, materials, painting techniques and expressive mark-making, helping you build confidence and develop your individual style.
From November to March, classes move indoors to the Workshop @ Dukes, where we'll continue to strengthen our skills by studying and learning from the great masters. These sessions provide an opportunity to refine technique, experiment with different approaches, and deepen your understanding of painting and drawing.
Students will also have the opportunity to exhibit their work in the annual Christmas Exhibition at Dukes, celebrating their progress and creativity with the wider community.
