Creative Ceramics with Helen Muir 

7 week block on Friday mornings, 9.30am - 12pm

5th September - 10th October followed by a two week break over half term with a final glaze class on Friday 31st October.

Helen studied ceramics at ECA and after several years exploring different ceramic techniques, she settled on hand building, producing one off unique pieces. She enjoys the process of starting with an idea and seeing where the clay takes you!

We will spend the first two weeks playing with textures and mark making. Using press moulds and learning different hand/slab building techniques. We will then have a month working and developing one idea, exploring the strength, versatility and the beauty of clay. 

This 7 week block is open to everyone, no experience necessary, just an interest in creating and having fun.

• Clay is to be purchased separately at Dukes during your first session. £16 for a full 12.5 kg bag and £8 for half a bag.
