Dukes Ceramics Studio – Term time classes for Children
Fridays, 3pm – 4.30pm (11-14 years)
10 week block - £180
9th Jan - 27th Mar 26 (two week break on 20th & 27th Feb for half term)
Students will be immersed in the world of clay and introduced to core hand building techniques such as coiling, slab work and pinch pots. There will be opportunities to try throwing on the wheel – this will work in rotation. Students will explore functional and sculptural forms as well as experimentation with gazing techniques.
Dukes Easter Ceramics Club
Monday 13th April, 10am - 3.30pm
Suitable for 8-12 years
Students will be immersed in the world of clay and introduced to core hand building techniques to create unique pottery pieces, inspired by nature and Spring. Students will leave with two pieces of detailed pottery they can be truly proud of!
Led by experienced ceramic artist, Euan Hunter. All materials provided.
