Dukes Ceramics Studio – Term time classes for Children
Fridays, 3pm – 4.30pm (11-14 years)
10 week block - £180
9th Jan - 27th Mar 26 (two week break on 20th & 27th Feb for half term)
Students will be immersed in the world of clay and introduced to core hand building techniques such as coiling, slab work and pinch pots. There will be opportunities to try throwing on the wheel – this will work in rotation. Students will explore functional and sculptural forms as well as experimentation with gazing techniques.
Pottery Painting Family Session
Sunday 1st March, 10am - 12pm
£20pp (adult or child)
Get creative with the family to paint your own pottery! We have the most delightful colours of underglazes and plenty of inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.
The price includes a piece of standard pottery (mug or jug) and you are welcome to purchase more pieces to paint during your session.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are welcome to join in on the pottery painting for the same price, or just attend free of charge. A member of the team will be present to offer guidance and advice.
Price includes all glazes and firing.
