A brand new term of Botanical Illustration is just around the corner. Let Suzanne feed your creativity with inspiration from the home of Sir Walter Scott & the exquisite 1820's Chinese Wallpaper that adorns the walls of Abbotsford House. Think bodacious blooms, beasties and beautiful birds!
Beginner? No problem! For the less experienced why not use the seasonal reference photos of Camellia, Magnolia, Cherry & Apple blossom, Japanese Quince & Darwin's Barberry to develop your botanical drawing and painting skills, expertly guided by Suzanne.
More experienced or a returning student? Let your imagination expand & create your own Spring flower painting including the aforementioned blooms, birds & butterflies.
This is a really bountiful subject matter with many beautiful possibilities. Enjoy some much-valued creative time in the fantastic workshop space at Dukes.
